Danielle Ward, a PhD candidate at the University of California Berkeley, will be giving a presentation titled $10,000 and a Good Idea as the William Sawyer Memorial Lecturer for the 2025-2026 Academic year.
Her lecture will cover presenting on the ways in which recently graduated students can get involved in biological research and even lead their own projects. She will demonstrates that you can make scientific contributions without using high levels of technical expertise or expensive equipment.
The lecture will be from 11am to noon on Tuesday September 23rd in Pettengill Hall, room G52 and is open for all to attend.
