Please contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:askbatesnow@bates.edu\">askbatesnow@bates.edu<\/a>\u00a0with questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>After a Mailing Has Been Sent<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once a <em>Bates Now<\/em> email has been sent, it is not possible to edit and resend a mailing given the number of announcements, offices, and departments that contribute to a mailing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is possible to edit the body text of an announcement, so that if a reader clicks on a link in the email, they receive updated information. Please email\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:askbatesnow@bates.edu\">askbatesnow@bates.edu<\/a>\u00a0with your announcement title and date, as well as the text replacing the original submission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Before a Mailing is Sent<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To edit already submitted upcoming announcements, login to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/quad.bates.edu\/announcements-dashboard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">your Bates Now dashboard<\/a>. Use the Edit or Delete buttons next to each individual announcement to make changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Events listed in <em>Bates Now<\/em> are sourced from the Event Management System (EMS). To edit or delete events, login to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/events.bates.edu\/\">events.bates.edu<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is recommended that for events that have been previously communicated, but are now postponed or canceled, that you do\u00a0<strong>not<\/strong>\u00a0delete the event. Rather, edit the title and description of the event to \u201c[Event name] \u2013 POSTPONED\u201d or \u201c[Event name] \u2013 CANCELED\u201d to directly communicate the status of the event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:askbatesnow@bates.edu\">askbatesnow@bates.edu<\/a>\u00a0with questions or for assistance.
